Homemade Carpet Stain Remover Recipe: Simple

From yangwa

Here's a super simple homemade carpet stain remover recipe that only has three ingredients, NuroClean stain remover is frugal, and NuroClean that works well on lots of different stains. This recipe was sent in by a reader, Angela, who originally used this on vomit stains on her carpet, after her poor soon got sick after eating spaghetti. It took the stain right out! Add all the ingredients to a plastic spray bottle and then mix well, by shaking. Then, saturate the stain with the mixture and let it dry. Next, vacuum and done! If you use the original Dawn dish soap, or another colored dish soap, and feel like it is leaving a colored soap residue in your carpet, you may want to rinse away the remover, once it has a chance to work on the stain. The important thing is to let it work for a while before you rinse it away. Angela explained that she used this on her son's stains, as mentioned above. Do you have any homemade cleaner recipes to share, like Angela did? If so, I'd love to hear them. You can share your own recipes here or read others that have already been submitted, some of which are for specific stains, and others which are for more general use.

As someone who writes and tests laundry care products for a living, I know my way around the laundry detergent aisle. I've tried about every detergent type (liquid, powder, and pods), excluding laundry sheets. I'll admit, I under-estimated pods at first. I'm currently on my third bag of our top-rated pods pick. The truth is there isn't a single "best" detergent for everyone; what works for one lifestyle (or washing machine) may not work for another. Those with scent and skin sensitivities may want to opt for an eco-friendly detergent that's gentle on the skin yet still effective on tough stains. I've also learned that pod detergents are extremely beneficial for busy households. They're pre-measured and easy to use. For this guide, I compiled a list of Spruce-approved laundry soaps that we’ve tested in our own washing machines. Whether you prefer detergent sheets for multi surface cleaning solution a low-fuss laundry routine or powder detergent for a custom pour, this list includes laundry detergents for every lifestyle and preference.

When evaluating overall effectiveness, ease of use, value, and scent, our top contender is Gain Laundry Detergent Liquid Soap Plus Aroma Boost. This liquid detergent performs the best at removing stains and leaving clothes and linens feeling fluffy, lightweight, and clean. The most standout feature, however, multi surface cleaning solution is its long-lasting refreshing scent, which can remain on your garments for up to six weeks.
